Legend tab

Charts shown in reports include legends to identify the charts’ contents. You can adjust the appearance of the legends in your chart styles. Gauge charts do not include the Legend tab. The following describes the options available on the Legend tab.

Field	Description
Show Legend	Select this check box to display a legend on the report.
Position	Click this drop-down menu to select the legend’s display position. You can select Right, Left, Top, or Bottom.
Font	Click the Font box to open the Choose Font window to select the leg­end’s font, font size, and color. Refer to Choosing font attributes.
Background	Click the Background box to open the Color window and select the leg­end’s background color. Refer to Choosing colors.
Border	Select a radio button to specify the style of the legend’s border. To pre­vent a border from displaying select None. You can also select a color for the border. Refer to Choosing colors.
Color	Click the Color box to open the Color window and select the border’s color. Refer to Choosing colors.
Shadow	Select a radio button to specify the legend’s shadow style. To prevent a border from displaying select None. You can also select a color for the shadow. Refer to Choosing colors.
Color	Click the Color box to open the Color window and select the border’s color. Refer to Choosing colors.
