Gridlines tab

You can choose to hide or display various gridlines in charts using the options on the Gridlines tab. You can also change colors for the gridlines that are displayed.

The following describes the gridlines chart styles options.

Field

Description

Category Grid Lines

This section allows you to define the attributes for grid lines on the category axis (x-axis) of your chart.

Note: The left category grid line is always enabled.

Inner

Select this check box to display the inner grid lines on the category axis. You can also choose a color for the lines (refer to Choosing colors).

Note: This option is not available in the radar chart style.

Right

Select this check box to display the far right grid line on the category axis. You can also choose a color for the line (refer to Choosing colors).

Note: This option is not available in the radar chart style.

Value Grid Lines

This section allows you to define the attributes for grid lines on the value axis (y-axis) of your chart.

Major

Select this check box to display grid lines representing major values on the value axis. You can also choose a color for the lines (refer to Choosing colors).

Minor

Select this check box to display grid lines representing minor values on the value axis. You can also choose a color for the lines (refer to Choosing colors).

Bottom

Select this check box to display the bottom grid line on the value axis. You can also choose a color for the line (refer to Choosing colors).

Note: This option is not available in the radar chart style.

Bottom	Select this check box to display the bottom grid line on the value axis. You can also choose a color for the line (refer to Choosing colors). Note: This option is not available in the radar chart style.
